Social Media & Digital Content Manager

Job Description

You’ll be responsible for:

  1. Leading and managing diverse social media and content campaigns
    for Capgemini/Sogeti in the Belux region. This involves close collaboration with local marketing leads from each brand, various business stakeholders, our digital agency, and the broader marketing team.
  2. Overseeing our social media channels, including LinkedIn and Meta/Instagram , and providing support to the marketing managers of each brand to create compelling organic social media posts aimed at driving business growth by showcasing how Capgemini creates business value, demonstrating our CSR/sustainability/innovation initiatives, and positioning the company as employer of choice.
  3. Generating creative and innovative social media content by utilizing both local and global resources.
  4. Working closely with marketing managers, dedicated copywriters, and social analytics colleagues to develop an engaging social media content calendar for 2024 , aligned with our business objectives.
  5. Regularly attending events to capture content in the form of photos and videos for our social media platforms.
  6. Leading video projects and providing feedback to our suppliers regarding video production and photography.
  7. Creating a content calendar for all business units and brands to enhance local thought leadership, showcase client success stories, employee testimonials , etc. on our website.
  8. Proactively collaborating with Marketing Managers from each brand or business unit to source content for our website and social media
    channels.
  9. Coordinating with our Website Manager to publish thought provoking blog posts, client success stories, employee testimonials, and various types of content tailored to different audiences such as potential talents, partners, and CxOs.

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  1. A minimum of 5+ years of social media and content management experience , preferably within an international organization , demonstrating a strong grasp of social media/digital content strategies and tactics.
  2. Strong leadership and influencing skills which are essential for leading and inspiring teams.
  3. Exceptional English language skills , both in written and spoken communication, as you’ll be working in an international context, and writing persuasive copy in English.
  4. Excellent “out of the box” thinking and communication skills coupled with a high level of creativity.
  5. Exceptional storytelling skills and understanding of copywriting principles.
  6. An exceptional “can-do” mentality
    and the ability to make agile decisions and take prompt actions.
  7. The capability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to evolving situations and demands.
  8. Ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand and digestible content.
  9. proactive, assertive, and well-organized approach to social media and digital content production.
  10. Knowledge of PR and/or the ability to work with PR agencies is a nice plus.
  11. Strong understanding of SEO to rank content higher in search results.
  12. Hands-on experience in photo/video editing tools (After Effects, Photoshop etc) is a nice plus but not mandatory.
  13. Hands-on experience with LinkedIn/Meta Business Manager is preferred.
  14. Experience with paid advertising (targeting, campaign types, creatives…) is a strong plus.
  15. A Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or Business , providing a solid foundation of social media, communication and content marketing.
  16. Commitment to staying updated with the latest social media and digital content trends (TikTok, user-generated content, Reels, video…)
